At All’s Well Teas and Elixirs, we craft herbal blends inspired by the healing traditions of Classical Chinese Medicine. Our founders — Andrew Sterman, Richard Tuttobene, and Karen Massey — come from the worlds of holistic wellness, music, and the arts and are guided by friendship, creativity, and trust.
Andrew, Richard, and Karen share a simple belief that wellness comes from the body’s natural ability to find balance through small lifestyle changes. Instead of quick fixes or fleeting fads, each of our blends are made with gentle, time-tested herbs to support balance, digestion, and vitality. Our bodies can be confused by functional beverages that contain a large number of ingredients. More is not necessarily better. The efficacy of our blends does not depend on a long ingredients list, but on the high quality of our herbs and how well they work in harmony with the body. All's well promotes patience, integrity, and consistency — all qualities that nurture lasting wellness.
Our Mission
Our Mission
We are deeply grateful to live in an age of extraordinary medical advancement. Modern medicine has saved and transformed countless lives, including our own. Yet we also recognize that a true, deep healing often begins from within.
We don't promise miracle cures or overnight transformations, but offer a path toward holistic wellness through gentle, food-like herbs, time, and consistency. This philosophy is inspired by Classical Chinese Medicine and the many who have walked this road before us.
Classical Chinese Medicine views digestion and nourishment as the center of vitality. The body has an astonishing capacity to heal itself when it is balanced. Our mission is to honor that principle by creating herbal teas and blends that restore balance, energy, and resilience.
As lifelong artists and educators, we founded All’s Well Teas and Elixirs not just to sell products, but to serve people. Whether or not someone makes a purchase, we hope to offer insight, reflection, and inspiration to help them care for their own well-being. We believe wellness isn’t a destination, but a daily lifelong relationship with yourself — one that unfolds patiently, naturally, and with integrity.
Our History (A Message from Our CEO)
Our History (A Message from Our CEO)
All’s Well Teas and Elixirs was born from a lifelong friendship and a shared fascination with the body’s ability to heal naturally.
In 1978, I met Andrew Sterman while we were both young musicians in Rochester, New York, where Andrew was studying at the Eastman School of Music. Years later, by chance, we reconnected on a New York City subway. Around that time, I watched Andrew undergo a remarkable transformation — overcoming an illness that Western medicine had deemed incurable through lifestyle change and disciplined study.
Witnessing that healing journey reshaped my understanding of natural medicine and planted the seed for what would become All’s Well. Over the following decades, Andrew devoted himself to the study and practice of Chinese herbal medicine, dietary therapy, and the mind-body connection, while also maintaining a celebrated career as a musician, composer, and educator.
In 2022, over dinner at Andrew’s Manhattan home, he served one of his herbal blends after the meal. That simple gesture sparked an idea — to share these blends, and the philosophy behind them, with the world. Over the months that followed, through countless conversations about integrity, purpose, and health, All’s Well began to take form. When it became clear that the startup would need more hands and minds to collaborate in creating concepts, systems, and structure, Richard invited close friend and colleague —Karen Massey — to join the partnership. A fellow multi-disciplinary artist and educator, Karen brought her energy, artistry, and organizational skills to help shape the company and bring structure to our creativity.
Together, we built All’s Well Teas and Elixirs as more than a business. It’s a continuation of lifelong friendships, a respect for ancient healing traditions, and a desire to serve. Along with our shared belief in the body’s extraordinary capacity to heal, we believe wellness is a lifelong relationship with yourself, your environment, and your community. Welcome to All’s Well.
We’re glad you’re here.

Andrew Sterman — Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer
Andrew Sterman is both a healer and an artist, with a lifelong dedication to exploring the connection between nourishment, well-being, and creativity. Trained in Classical Chinese Medicine, qigong, and dietary therapy, he has spent decades helping people live in balance through food and herbs.
Andrew studied at the Natural Gourmet Cookery School and is the author of the acclaimed two-volume book Welcoming Food: Diet as Medicine for the Home Cook and Other Healers (Classical Wellness Press, 2020.) He is currently working on a new title while appearing as a guest on numerous podcasts. In addition to developing new blends for All’s Well Teas and Elixirs, Andrew shares his deep understanding of Classical Chinese Medicine — and its practical application to modern life — through teaching dietary medicine. He teaches internationally across North America, Europe, and Australia, as well as through online platforms.
Alongside his wellness work, Andrew maintains a parallel career as a musician, composer, and music educator. He is the managing member of the Philip Glass Ensemble and has performed and recorded with artists including Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Bruce Springsteen, Dizzy Gillespie, Freddie Hubbard, and both the New York and Los Angeles Philharmonics. All of Andrew’s work reflects a lifetime of study, the art of balance, and care. His herbal blends embody the same precision, artistry, devotion, and refinement that define his music and teaching.
Richard Tuttobene — Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Richard Tuttobene has spearheaded entrepreneurial endeavors and has experience in the investment world. However, the bulk of his career has been spent working as a composer and pianist. Before co-founding All’s Well Teas and Elixirs, Richard built a distinguished career in music — scoring numerous films and television shows and serving as the main composer for Nickelodeon’s All That, Kenan & Kel, and The Amanda Show. His compositions have been performed by Steely Dan and members of the New York Philharmonic, and his film credits include After Image, The Shipment, and Unstrung.
Richard’s path to founding All’s Well began with a deeply personal experience. Years ago, he suffered a gallbladder rupture and sepsis — a life-threatening emergency. Under excellent hospital care, he was treated with IV antibiotics, fluids, and pain medication, and placed on a closely monitored, medically supervised fast. Initially, surgery was strongly considered. However, after his attending physician assessed Richard’s situation, he decided to give Richard’s body a chance to respond to treatment before proceeding. Against the odds, Richard’s condition improved, and he made a full recovery without an operation. The experience left a profound impression, deepening his respect for the body’s innate resilience and its ability to heal under the right conditions. Additionally, his long friendship with Andrew Sterman deepened his understanding of Chinese herbal medicine and natural wellness, as he personally benefited from Andrew’s guidance in nutrition and herbal support.
As CEO, Richard leads All’s Well with a commitment to transparency, creativity, and trust. Drawing on his background as a composer, Richard aims to build a brand that treats wellness as both a craft and a calling.
