The Painted Lily is a woman-owned company established in 2008 and based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Each tile is lovingly handcrafted in her rural Pennsylvania farm studio with care and attention to detail. She is dedicated to creating beautiful and useful home goods, with the hope that her tiles will be treasured as tiny works of art—pieces that live in our homes and accompany us as we enjoy our morning and evening beverages, adorning our tables like little gems.

Her greatest inspirations come from deep-rooted history: classic imagery such as antique advertisements, book covers, personal letters, and heirloom photographs. Through her collage and production process, she works to create long-lasting pieces that encourage us to live beautifully in the present, without forgetting the past.

Rich Tapestry Handmade Stone Coasters

These striking and well-crafted stone coasters are handmade using tumbled marble tile. The Rich Tapestry collection features the timeless patterns of William Morris, the celebrated textile and wallpaper designer of the late 1800s and early 1900s. Through the image-transfer process, lighter areas of the artwork become subtly transparent, allowing the natural color and character of the stone to show through from underneath.

Made to last a lifetime, these coasters are exceptionally durable. They are well sealed and appropriate for both hot and cold beverages, and each piece is backed with cork to protect your table surfaces.

These tiny works of art make a beautiful addition to your home and a thoughtful gift for a loved one. They also display beautifully on a plate stand or small easel placed on a bookshelf, mantle, or table. Each tile will vary slightly due to the natural color and character of the stone.
